Matthew
Pohl is president and founder of Class Action Administration,
Inc. (CAA), a Colorado based class action litigation and
claims administration firm established in 1999. Under
Pohl's leadership, CAA has emerged as a premier provider of
class action administration services in the U.S. The
firm focuses exclusively on class action cases, providing
a wide range of services including damage modeling and testimony
during litigation, settlement planning, notice via mailings
and other media, claims processing, and benefit calculation
and disbursement. Pohl and his team of professionals
have been recognized by the legal community for their superior
customer service.
Before
founding CAA, Pohl worked
for six years at Arthur Andersen, LLP, a "Big Five"
accounting and management-consulting firm. During his
tenure there, he served as manager of the economic and financial
consulting practice. His areas of responsibility included
managing the Denver class action litigation and claims administration
practice, and developing sophisticated damage assessment computer
models. Pohl administered settlements that were as large
as 7 million class members. Pohl
also served for five years as director of business intelligence
at Corporate Express, Inc., a $4 billion supplier of office
and computer products. In that capacity, Pohl was responsible
for strategic data analysis projects and decision support
for the company's extensive data warehouse, which totaled
one terabyte in size.
Pohl
holds a Master of Science degree in information systems and
operations management from the University of Colorado-Denver,
and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration
from the University of Denver, where he majored in Decision
Sciences. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum
Laude respectively. Pohl resides in Denver with his
wife and four children. |
